The General Director of AD MEPSO, Mr. Kushtrim Ramadani, attended the celebration of the 15th anniversary since the foundation of the Power System Operator of Kosovo – KOSTT and six months since the company started to work as an independent control area within the framework of the control block formed together with the Albanian Power System Operator - OST.
At the official ceremony, which took place on July 01, 2021, attended the Prime Minister of Kosovo, other eminent representatives from the political elite of Kosovo, ambassadors, ENTSO-E representatives, and other international figures in the energy sector. There had been presented series of development plans for KOSTT. The general director of KOSTT, Mustaf Hasanи, has expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation with AD MEPSO, as well as the support from the company’s management. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my colleague Kushtrim Ramadani from the Republic of North Macedonia, who in the most difficult times, when we had limitations in the transmission of electrical energy, has found a solution to help KOSTT”
In December last year, AD MEPSO and KOSTT signed a contract for organization of auctions for allocation of cross-border capacities, therefore, creating conditions for direct trading with electricity between the two countries.
