Prof. Dr. Burim Latifi, General Director, attended the ENTSO-E Assembly Meeting to discuss key European power system issues.
The discussions focused on:
* the European Grids Package and the future legislative framework,
* The role of ENTSO-E in the governance of the internal electricity market,
* the organisation’s ongoing activities and priorities.
Additionally, reports on significant system events and measures for strengthening the security of the power system were reviewed.
The meeting participants confirmed the need for enhanced regional cooperation, accelerated investments in transmission infrastructure, and further improvement of planning and network management processes at the European level.
Through its participation in the Assembly, AD MEPSO actively contributes to the development of European policies and ensures timely alignment with future regulatory and operational requirements.
