“That means” said the PM Spasovski, “that the power systems of these friendly countries of ours will be connected and will be able to replenish anytime they are in need.”

“In this whole process, MEPSO is a key factor for appropriate energy infrastructure in providing quality and uninterrupted supply of electricity to the economy, which is one of the most important conditions for economic growth and development of the Republic of North Macedonia. “This investment is message to all domestic and foreign investors, present and future, that we are creating great work conditions and a confirmation that all needs of electricity will be satisfied. Our country has a main role in the regional energy connection and hence this investment is of great importance not just for us, but for the whole region.” said the Minister of Transportation and Communications, Goran Sugareski at the ceremony of signing the contracts between AD MEPSO and Energoinvest from the Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina, and Konćar from the Republic of Croatia.
