The Project Balkan Digital Highway gathered all Balkan transmission system operators. At the meeting held in Pristina, Kosovo, AD MEPSO was represented by the Director General, Mr. Zuhdi Enuz. The topic for discussion was the degree of implementation and the numerous possibilities that this project opens in terms of better connection among the Western Balkans countries on national and regional levels.
Besides the commercial and social advantages, the Balkan Digital Highway enables better Internet access to all citizens and businesses via building a regional infrastructure for broader Internet through the state transmission networks.
The Balkan Digital Highway, as a project supported by the World Bank and financed through the WBIF, is expected to open the way to a new collaboration for digital connection between Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
The Director General at this meeting was accompanied by the Board of Directors: Nikola Rilak, Bilen Saljiji, Tomi Bozhinovski, Ljupco Zikov, as well as the Pproject manager, Jasmina Kecap.
